Final State (of a DP)

The final state of a DP is the state in which the DP is bound to a specific entity, which becomes the DP's subject.
In its final state, the DP has moved beyond the generic configurations of the initial state. It is now bound to a specific entity, which is hence its subject, and therefor is a secure storage and operational environment for data that pertains to this entity.
The DP will remain in this bound state for the duration of its existence. In this state, the subject of the DP cannot change (i.e., cannot be replaced, undone, etc.).
In this state, the DP can perform all the functions it was designed to, including running scripts, managing data, enforcing access control, execution control and response control policies, and more.
