Access Control Policy (ACP)

The Access Control Policy (ACP) is a set of rules and conditions in a DP) that defines who or what (i.e., which entities) are authorized to access and execute a particular script.
Description: The ACP of a script is a critical component of a DP's security mechanism. It controls who has the ability to request the execution of that script, thus determining what data can be accessed and manipulated within the DP. The ACP takes into account the identity of the requesting entity, their role, and potentially other contextual factors such as the time of request or the state of the DP. The ACP might also consider more complex permissions involving multiple entities in roles such as DP Creator, DP Operator, and DP Owner. As with other policies, a key aspect of the ACP is its flexibility - it can be updated to reflect changes in the operational environment, compliance requirements, or the needs of the DP owner.
