Initial State

The **initial state (of a DP) is the state in which the DP is not yet bound to any particular entity and, thus, does not have a specific subject.

In its initial state, a DP serves as a template for future use. It contains a default set of scripts, policies, and data, the specifics of which are determined by the potential type of entity the DP is designed to serve. These components are in accordance with the rules specified in the DP system's governance framework. During this stage, the DP is unbound; it is not linked to any entity and hence has no subject. This initial state serves as the preparatory phase for the DP, setting it up to be customized and bound to a specific (kind of) entity in the future.
